Economic Development & FDI Advisory

Background

Since 2016, I have been working with and for investment promotion agencies (IPAs) and economic development organizations (EDOs) from all continents. I am convinced of the benefits FDI can bring to locations and how effective investment attraction can foster sustainable development, e.g. green transition, economic prosperity, gender equality, or digital transformation of established industries.


Over the last years, I worked for countries, regions, cities, free zones, industrial zones, and real estate development projects in North America (US, Canada), Europe (Germany, UK, Spain), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman), and Asia (Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Fiji), among others.

Current work

Since September 2024 I have been working as Deputy of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong in its Berlin Office embedded in the organization's global network of 34 offices.


Invest Hong Kong is the department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to attract foreign direct investment and support overseas and Mainland businesses to set up or expand in Hong Kong providing free, confidential and customized research and advisory services for expanding overseas companies.
