Economic Development & FDI Advisory

Background

Since 2016, I have been working with and for investment promotion agencies (IPAs) and economic development organizations (EDOs) from all continents. I am convinced of the benefits FDI can bring to locations and how effective investment attraction can foster sustainable development, e.g. green transition, economic prosperity, gender equality, or digital transformation of established industries.


Over the last years, I worked for countries, regions, cities, free zones, industrial zones, and real estate development projects in North America (US, Canada), Europe (Germany, UK, Spain), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman), and Asia (Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Fiji), among others.

Current work

In September 2024, I joined Invest Hong Kong in its Berlin Office that is embedded in the organization's global network of 34 global representations. In September I took over the lead as Head of Investment Promotion.


Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is the investment promotion agency of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).


We support overseas and Chinese Mainland companies and institutions, from multinational corporates to startups, to plan, set up their business in Hong Kong, and to expand their operations and international reach via Hong Kong.


We collaborate with investment promotion agencies from around the world to facilitate this two way investment.
