Since I started playing the cello at age 7, I have enjoyed playing music in symphonic orchestras, chamber music emsembles, and as a soloist. Through music I made friends on all continents, performed together on stage, and created unforgettable moments - for ourselves and our audience.
My whole life I engaged with more or less intensity in various sports such as soccer, badminton, tennis, table tennis, and sailing. Now, I mostly focus on long distance running participating in races in Germany and Europe. Running helps me overcome challenges, going beyond my limits, and grow as a person.
Music, work, vacations, and friends brought me to more than 50 countries around the world. I am blessed I could ride a reindeirs sledge in Alaska, hike around Mount Yangmaiyong (5,958m) in China's Sichuan province, camp in meteroite craters in Saudi Arabia, or explore the lush rainforest in Fiji and Hawaii.
